Tesra S.A has confirmed its participation in the 8th International Seminar on Process Hydrometallurgy, to the days 15-17 June 2016 held in Santiago, Chile. The theme of the presentation will focus on innovation made in the leach pad at Minera Spence, whose operational optimization has generated interest in more companies in the industry.
The pilot project testing and validation of technology is the application of machinery for upper layer and bottom in an integrated process. The process involves installing aireation and drainage lines in the cover with precision trench DK-Trenchers and route the ground with Sulboiler Jympa device. In the upper layer for assembly process, used a tractor coupled high flotation rubbers and a platform of droppers installation, whose function is to install 25 simultaneous drip lines without compacting the soil. For the disarmament process, tractor with forward fork system, whose task is to loosen and remove excess material until the cover is used.
Due to the increasing demand for engineering and consulting services in the railway sector, Tesra is operating in Bolivia since March 2016 to meet the requirements of railway undertakings present in that country. Currently Tesra is developing a consultancy Transportation Safety Liquid Fuels by Rail for the Eastern Railway company. This consultancy will define whether the company is complying with the standards of local and international security (Americans) required for this type of dangerous goods and action plans will be proposed to ensure a safe and efficient transport of current transport and the expected increase in next years.
From January 1, 2016, Tesra S.A has started contract Pipeline Video Inspection Minera Escondida, for a period of three years. This contract has allowed MEL reduce the risk of operational failures, both valve stations, and lines 6 "and 9" of it. Video Inspection Service performing Tesra detects internal findings in the pipeline and anticipate failure, displaying the type of finding, quantifying the extent to schedule repair or subsequent monitoring. Tesra robotic equipment can be inspected up to one kilometer of pipes at each access (500 meters upstream and downstream).
With a successful participation Tesra concluded its participation in Exponor 2015 held in Antofagasta Sector cover. In the place lectures, technical visits of great exponents of Chilean mining and Worldwide were made. Tesra showed all its projects, including the validation commencing heap leach in Minera Spence.
